One great thing about the LG G4 is that it doesn’t come with a sealed battery like most other smartphones in its class. So it becomes less of a problem when your battery doesn’t charge to its full capacity or starts to experience sudden power drops. But before you decide that you need a battery repair or replacement, here are a few checks you can do to determine if there’s really an issue with your LG G4 battery:
Are you perpetually connected to cellular data or WiFi service? Especially if you’re using LTE, this could cause big drops in battery power.
You may have left some apps running after you used them. Open apps can eat up power even on standby mode, so swipe to close them to conserve power.
You can also adjust screen brightness so you don’t use up that much power. Bright HD displays are impressive, but they eat up a lot of power, too.
Refrain from making too many downloads as they will cause significant reductions in reserved power.
Just like anything that’s used day in and day out however, there will come a time when your battery will need to be repaired or replaced. We at 305 Phone Repair can make that assessment for you, so give us a call to set a same day repair. You can also drop by as we gladly welcome walk-ins. We’re pretty sure you’ll be satisfied with the services we offer!
